Earlier in the spring I actually wrote a 4 week series on my denominational journey. Even though I left many for good reasons and ultimately landed in the United Methodist Church, my reflections were about the many beautiful things I gained from each one and how they have all shaped me and remain part of who I am today.

In our division, we too often lose the beauty of difference.

Thank you for this.

Do you have a link to these articles?

The first one on my Catholic roots is at https://reflectionsofsomething.substack.com/p/finding-beauty-and-grace-in-my-catholic

At the bottom of each is a link to the next moving through Baptist, Non-Denominational and a few others and finally why I landed in the UMC.

Most people I find just like to bash the parts of faith they left but I found it quite helpful to acknowledge the good even in less than ideal places.

You’re right, you will eventually have to choose a room, but you can take the good things from other rooms and store them in your pockets.

No, they’re free to take, at least most of them.

Bit of denomination pick-pocketing? 🤣
